Fruitless, has-been movie-maker (Dennis Quaid) con his way into an interview with a film executive (Greg Kinnear) to an outrageous and controversial comedy screenplay pitch. After throwing the first of his thirteen quirky fables, the dejected artist forces the rest of his incoherent allegory of executive power at gunpoint. He tells stories about a woman on a blind date with a man testicles growing out of his neck, another shows a woman in her neck to defecate her boyfriend as a sign of devotion and love. In two other homeschooling parents to a whole new level of obscenity, strive to their isolated teenage son and offer all the usual embarrassment of puberty by bullying, peer pressure and even forfø RER itself. An off-beat, elephant-in-the-room kind of movies. |
